At Three Rivers Healthcare and Rehabilitation, we believe in fostering connections between generations, and our recent fun day was a shining example of that commitment. We were delighted to host fourth graders from East Poinsett County, who brought joy, energy, and companionship to our community.
The morning was filled with laughter as the students spent time with our residents, engaging in a variety of games. The highlight of the day was a spirited session of BINGO, where both the kids and elders eagerly competed for the win. The students didn’t come empty-handed—they also brought snacks, which added a sweet touch to the day.
One special guest who stole everyone’s heart was a therapy dog that the students brought along. The presence of this furry friend added an extra layer of comfort and excitement, creating precious moments for our residents.
We are deeply grateful to East Poinsett County School for organizing this visit. The willingness of these young students to spend time with our elders and bring smiles to their faces means the world to us. Events like these remind us of the importance of community, connection, and the joy that comes from sharing time together.
We look forward to more opportunities to welcome the youth of our community into our home and create lasting memories for all. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success!
